ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH
The specific purpose of the corporation is to engage with communities and provide necessary services to determine the extent of any health risk that may exist as well as any options available to mediate health risks identified. This may include but is not limited to environmental research, patient evaluation and research, and any other actions that may be required to protect human and animal health.
GOALS
Inform
A community can feel most empowered when they are best informed of the risk factors in the area in which they live. By staying in touch through e-mails and newsletters, holding consistent town hall meetings, and opening up Q&A sessions, community members have opportunities to stay informed through our various platforms of communication.
Resources
While EHR is in the early stages of growth, our current resources consist of growing our platform to continue to inform the public and partnering with neighborhood councils and other environmental organizations to brainstorm and seek solutions as we continue to build. Our goal is to provide resources to test and identify underlying roots to health problems facing our community, neighboring communities, and eventually, communities across the country.
Support
Support is crucial to any organization. We are calling on community leaders and facilitators, environmental health organizations, health experts, and scientists to join together as we seek to support members of communities who are facing health issues.
